Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Weekdays
As part of our team, the Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care and health monitoring for individuals with developmental disabilities in both residential and day program settings. Key responsibilities include assessment, care coordination, health education, and policy development. The role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care.
Qualifications
- Current, Unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Colorado
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required; Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) Preferred
- Minimum of 3 Years of Nursing Experience, with at Least 2 Years in Mental Health or Developmental Disabilities Settings
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
- Medication Administration Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation with a Clean Driving Record
- Flexibility to Work Occasional Evenings and Weekends as Needed (Phone Calls/Texting)
- Availability for Emergency Response
- Must Pass a Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening, If Applicable
- TB Test
- Occasional Travel Between Trinidad and Walsenburg May Be Necessary
